Our Current Seminar Program

Transferable Skills for Doctoral Candidates

Dear Doctoral Candidates,

The Graduate Academy Seminar Program “Transferable Skills for Doctoral Candidates” for the winter semester 2009/10 is now online. The courses have been tailored to the specific needs of doctoral candidates, who can obtain the skills necessary to successfully plan, structure and organize their dissertations, can acquire additional academic qualifications and can develop career perspectives for the future.

The courses are free of charge for doctoral candidates at Heidelberg University because the fees can be reimbursed through funding support from the Rectorate.

The seminar program begins in October with the courses:  “Scientific Communication in English”, „Wissenschaftssprache Deutsch für internationale Promovierende“, “Bewerbungstraining” and “Präsentieren von Forschungsergebnissen”.
