NORD Research Grants for Rare Diseases

 

The National Organization for Rare Disorders (NORD), the leading independent, nonprofit organization committed to the identification, treatment, and cure of rare disorders, has announced the availability of three research grants as part of its Rare Disease Research Grant Program. NORD encourages all U.S. and international researchers interested in studying one or more of these diseases to review the full application guidelines detailed in the request for proposals.

 

NORD’s Rare Disease Research Grant Program is still accepting proposals for the study of:

  • Cat Eye Syndrome – One (1) grant of up to $30,000 for scientific and/or clinical research studies related to Cat Eye Syndrome.
  • Malonic Aciduria – One (1) grant of up to $50,000 for scientific and/or clinical research studies related to Malonic Aciduria.
  • Post-Orgasmic Illness Syndrome – One (1) grant of up to $31,000 for scientific and/or clinical research studies related to Post-Orgasmic Illness Syndrome (POIS).
