Newsletter Heidelberg Graduate School for the Humanities and Social Sciences (HGGS) - Information Event on October 20

The Heidelberg Graduate School for the Humanities and Social Sciences invites all doctoral candidates and advanced Master’s students in the Humanities, Law and Social Sciences, including scholarship recipients of the LGF, the “Begabtenförderungswerke”, and PhDs working at the six participating faculties at Heidelberg University to participate in the HGGS Information Event. Doctoral candidates of all years are welcome to join!

At this event, Dr. Astrid Wind, Managing Director of the HGGS, will give you an overview of:

• HGGS Membership Benefits
• Funding Opportunities
• International Conferences
• Graduate Program and Certificate
• HGGS Peer Mentoring
• HGGS Publications
• Guidelines for (Fast-Track) Applications at the HGGS (until November 15, 2025)

There will be time to ask questions and to discuss matters relevant to you! The presentation of the HGGS will be held in English; questions in both English and German are welcome.

The HGGS information event will take place on Monday, October 20, 2025, from 11:00 am to 12:00 noon at Heuscheuer II, next to Marstall Mensa, 69117 Heidelberg.
