Liebe Doktorandinnen und Doktoranden,
wenn Promovierende zum ersten Mal an die Universität Heidelberg kommen, gibt es meistens viele Fragen, etwa zur Immatrikulation, zur Wohnungssuche, zu Versicherungen, Arbeitsverträgen, zur Finanzierung der Promotion, zu Sprachkursen und anderem mehr. Die Graduiertenakademie möchte Sie in Heidelberg begrüßen und Ihnen die Informationen an die Hand geben, die Sie besonders in der Anfangszeit benötigen!
Bei unserem Event erhalten Sie Informationen über die Graduiertenakademie, unsere Beratungsangebote und Karriereentwicklungsprogramme sowie über Fördermöglichkeiten. Auch andere Einrichtungen der Universität stellen ihre Angebote für Sie vor und stehen Ihnen für Fragen zur Verfgung.
Daher laden wir Sie sehr herzlich zu unserer Informationsveranstaltung „Getting Started on Your Doctorate“ ein. Sie findet am 27.10.2021 ab 16:00 Uhr draußen vor dem Graduiertenzentrum, Im Neuenheimer Feld 370, 69120 Heidelberg statt!

“Getting Started on Your Doctorate” on October 27 – Information Session for Doctoral Candidates
Dear Doctoral Candidates,
As you begin your doctoral training at Heidelberg University you may have some important questions about things like financing your doctoral project, the differences between individual training and doctoral studies in a structured program or possible career options after completing your degree. In our „Getting Started on Your Doctorate“ orientation event, the Graduate Academy offers answers to these and many other questions and we warmly encourage all new doctoral candidates to attend our meeting in 2021.
As young researchers, you will receive information about the Graduate Academy, our advising services and career development programs and about funding opportunities. Other university facilities will also present their services for doctoral candidates and be available to answer your questions.
Our first event after a long pause will take place on October 27, 2021 at 4:00 pm outside in front of the Graduate Center, Im Neuenheimer Feld 370, 69120 Heidelberg. Registration is open until October 25 on our website www.graduateacademy.uni-heidelberg.de!
