Call for Application for the Falling Walls Lab during the „Falling Walls Conference” (8-9 November 2012, Berlin)

MA students and PhD-candidates, Post-Docs and young professionals are encouraged to apply for participating in the Falling Walls Lab at the „Falling Walls Conference - The International Conference on Future Breakthroughs in Science and Society“. The Falling Walls Lab is a platform for excellent young scientists and innovators from all disciplines who get the opportunity to share their research work with peers and a distinguished jury from academia and business. On November 8, the Falling Walls Lab Berlin gathers 100 outstanding young academics in Berlin – each of them presenting their topic in a challenging 3-minute form.

All participants will be awarded an A.T. Kearney scholarship for the Falling Walls Conference on the following day, November 9. The three most intriguing presenters will be invited to give their 3 minutes speech at the Conference again – side by side with the most prominent researchers from all over the globe.

The concept of the conference is: Each year on 9 November, the day of the fall of the Berlin Wall, the Falling Walls Conference dares a look into the future and asks: Which are the next walls to fall and how will this affect our lives?
