Berndt

Dr. Christina Berndt (Host)

Christina Berndt studied biochemistry and then did her PhD at the German Cancer Research Center in Heidelberg. She now works as a science writer for the Süddeutsche Zeitung.

 

Bock

Prof. Dr. Dr. h.c. Hans Georg Bock

Hans Georg Bock is the Managing Director of the Interdisciplinary Center for Scientific Computing (IWR) and was, until recently, the speaker of the “Heidelberg Graduate School of Mathematical and Computational Methods for the Sciences“.

 

Patzel Mattern

Prof. Dr. Katja Patzel-Mattern

Katja Patzel-Mattern is professor for economic and social history at the University of Heidelberg.

 

Scholz

Dr. Beate Scholz

Beate Scholz works internationally as a strategy coach, trainer and presenter at universities and research institutions. Previously she developed and headed the department for the promotion of young researchers at the German Research Foundation.

 

Schwanitz

Dr. Simone Schwanitz

Simone Schwanitz is Permanent Secretary of the Baden-Württemberg Ministry for Science, Research and the Arts.

 

Steilberg

 

Dr. Hays Steilberg

Hays Steilberg studied in Heidelberg and received his PhD from the University of Münster. He is now Senior Vice President of Corporate Management Development at Bertelsmann AG.
