Grants from the Faculty of Philosophy to support doctoral initiatives - Application Procedure and Forms

Please complete the following two steps to apply for a grant to support a doctoral initiative:

STEP 1: Fill out the ONLINE REGISTRATION FORM

Please note:

• Each applicant must fill out and submit a separate online registration form. Please indicate on each form which of the applicants will act as the contact person for the Graduate Academy.
• The submission of the online registration form alone does not constitute an application. Only when all necessary documents have been submitted to the Graduate Academy by both applicants, will your application be considered.

STEP 2: Submit the APPLICATION FORM and accompanying documents to the Graduate Academy

Please note:

• Please save the application form on your computer before filling it out in order to ensure that your data is transmitted correctly. After filling out the application form, please re-save the file via email to the Graduate Academy: ga-docs@uni-heidelberg.de
• The application form must be filled out by both applicants (each applicant will fill out sections A1-C1 / A2-C2 separately) and submitted to the Graduate Academy by the contact person identified in the online registration form.
• Please attach a copy of your letter of admission as a doctoral candidate or your enrollment certificate (with the intended degree "Promotion m. Abschlussprfg") to Heidelberg University for both applicants.
• If applicable, please submit a copy of the approval letter for external funding.
• Please attach your documents separately to the email, it is not necessary to combine them into one PDF.
