How (and why) to become a doctoral candidate – Information sessions for master’s students (limited places) on July 21, 22, 23 and 28

 

Dear master's students,

 

If you are approaching the end of your master’s studies and are considering pursuing a doctorate at Heidelberg University, this event is for you. New doctoral candidates generally begin their PhD with many questions about registering and enrolling, funding their doctoral studies and much more. The Graduate Academy would like to provide you with the information necessary especially for your first steps towards a doctorate and to discuss any pros and cons you may have come across while considering doctoral studies. This summer we will be hosting four short events about How (and why) to become a doctoral candidate:

 

When? July 21, 22, 23 and 28; 1:15–2:45 pm

Where? Hörsaal, Centre for Organismal Studies Heidelberg (COS), Im Neuenheimer Feld 360

 

Attendance is limited to 20 persons per event, so please make sure to register quickly. Because spaces are limited, please register for only one session!

Important notice: When inside the building and during the event, please make sure to wear a mask at all times and to keep a distance of at least 1.5 m from other attendees and staff. The hygiene requirements also make it necessary for all participants and staff to sign a form confirming that they are not experiencing any symptoms related to a possible corona virus infection.
